About Creator Digital

In 2008 the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD XII) needed a venue in Accra large enough to host 3,200 event participants and media personnel from across the globe in Accra. The facility needed sufficient cooling, floor space (15,000 sq. meters), audio and visual equipment for simultaneous language translations and video screenings, the setting up of high-speed internet access points, toilet facilities and other detailed needs.

Cometh Covid, Cometh Creator Digital

In 2020, before Ghana’s December 7 elections, the Parliament of Ghana needed a service provider who could design and build a large temporary tent structure for the final SONA (State of the Nation Address) before the January 7, 2021 swearing in of a new president. Covid was a major factor in moving these two events into a temporary structure which would be built with Covid protocols prominently featuring in the construction and execution. Many vendors were called. Creator Digital was chosen.

Parliament needed a vendor who could do the following:

  • Provide a large tent structure that could accommodate visiting dignitaries and several prominent people with sufficient seating distance because of Covid-19.
  • Provide VIP bathroom facilities for the attendees.
  • Provide a smaller tent structure for auxiliary needs including Press &  Accreditation Centers.
  • Provide industrial size cooling.
  • Installation of Presidential Dais.
  • Flooring & Carpeting.
  • General & Stage Lightening.
  • Public Address System.
  • Generator Set.
  • Furniture and Executive Chairs.
  • LED Screens.
  • Partitioning and Installation of offices.
  • Representative décor.
  • Testing and Handover.

We executed the project on time to enable the State of The Nation Address to be held on January 5, 2021 and the presidential swearing-in on January 7, 2021 in the temporary tent we had designed and built.
